STYGMA IV: In Pre-Production Mode

February 16, 2005

Austrian power metallers STYGMA IV have laid down eight new songs during the pre-production stage for their sixth album, tentatively due later in the year.

"The new songs turned out very heavy during the working process," the group write on their web site. "Once again Ritchie Krenmaier created unbelievable outstanding melody lines. The new stuff will mark a big step in the next chapter of STYGMA IV."

As previously reported, STYGMA IV are currently offering a download of their previously unreleased song "Tsunami" for two euros via their official web site at this location. The proceeds from the sales will go to Ärzte Ohne Grenzen (Medicines Without Frontiers),which is providing aid to the Asian countries devastated by the tsunami disaster.

"Tsunami" was originally laid down during the recording sessions for STYGMA IV's "Phobia" album back in 2001.

STYGMA IV's fifth album, "Hell Within", was released last year via NTS Records.
